Biography
Giselle M. Martínez-Velázquez is an experienced attorney specializing in corporate and real estate transactions, with a focus on commercial lending, secured transactions, real estate law, intellectual property and general corporate law. She possesses extensive expertise in contract preparation and negotiation, as well as in handling regulatory and licensing matters.
Giselle represents various financial institutions in lending transactions and provides legal counsel on matters related to energy, procurement, low-income and affordable housing, debt collection, and government law. She has significant experience in negotiating and documenting large and complex transactions.
She is authorized to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (2010), before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit (2017), and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico (2012). Giselle is also a Notary Public.
In addition to her legal qualifications, Giselle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Giselle serves as a member of the Board of Governors of United Way of Puerto Rico.
